KU-accessory

Raised in Okinawa, the artist behind KU-accessory grew up surrounded by the island’s vivid blue seas and vibrant tropical blooms. These landscapes left a lasting impression, sparking a desire to preserve fleeting moments of beauty through handmade accessories.

Each piece is crafted using polymer clay to express the rich colors and organic forms of Okinawa’s natural scenery. The designs are lightweight, easy to wear, and thoughtfully balanced, not only reflecting nature’s shapes and hues, but also considering how the accessory harmonizes with the wearer.

In addition to clay work, KU-accessory also creates pieces using Chibana Hanaori, a traditional Okinawan woven textile. These works honor both the elegance of nature and the warmth of time-honored craftsmanship.

With every creation, KU-accessory hopes to bring a touch of color and joy to everyday life - small moments of delight inspired by the island’s spirit.
